Chatbot
Built in to Caffeinated is a chatbot which has a selection of useful basic functions. You can use it to set commands, shouts, and timers, as well as customize its settings.
Commands
Section titled “Commands”
Setting ! commands is very simple.
You can choose when someone
- From any platform or a specific platform
- Runs the command or says something a certain word or phrase
The bot will return with the reply you have set.
e.g. Running !casterlabs by default will send: Checkout casterlabs.co! in whichever platform chat the command was sent in.
Commands can be added by clicking the + bellow the list.
Shouts
Section titled “Shouts”
Similar to the Commands, the chatbot will also callout any events that occur while you are live:
- Follows
- Subscriptions
- Raids
- Donations
As with the Commands, this will only be posted in the chat of the platform the event happened on.
Timers
Section titled “Timers”You can set random messages to be sent in chat every X seconds.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”From the settings tab you can decide what you want to appear in the Chat Dock or on-screen Widget.
Hiding users only works within Casterlabs-Caffeinated
This will not stop users messages appearing in the chat of the platform you are streaming to.
